Andrew Hawkins


I have had the pleasure of serving the State of Tennessee fast approaching 18 years and have been a CFE and member of the MTCFE chapter for 15 years. Soon after graduating from college, I began my career as a Financial and Compliance Auditor for the Comptroller’s Office. After 8 and a half years, I transitioned to the Assistant Director of Internal Audit for the Department of Finance and Administration where fraud investigations were a large focus. For the past three years, I have served as the Assistant Director of Fiscal Services for the Comptroller’s Office. In my current role, I am responsible for managing the Comptroller’s Fiscal and Facilities Office, developing and managing the budget, facilitating the annual Management Risk Assessment process and many other tasks. I have been married to my wife Denise for 15 years and we have two children, Cam and Carlie. I used to have hobbies, such as riding my motorcycle, playing roller hockey, and scuba diving, but now, my kids’ hobbies are my hobbies.

JONATHAN N. SANDERS


I have obtain certifications for CFE, CICA

I have been in audit since 1994 working for Southland Corporation ( 7-eleven).


I currently work at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN.


From February 2006-Current as a (Senior Internal Auditor)

I preform various financial, compliance, operational audits and investigative audits in accordance with accepted professional standards in order to determine compliance with  institutional policies and procedures and adherence to applicable laws and regulation


I worked at Dollar General Corp in Goodlettsville, TN      

From September 2004-2006 as a (Senior Auditor/Analyst)

I made recommendation for improvement in systems, policies and procedures to management

I assisted in Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance to assure controls are in place

Kerry Rickard


I am Kerry Rickard, I work for the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance as a Fraud Investigator III.  I have been in this position since April 2014 and received my CFE in January of this year.  I began Investigations as a career in 1978 becoming a police officer and serving as an advanced accident investigator for about 8 ½ years.  I began working in Insurance around 1991, and have continued to investigate property, auto, life and health claims. 

 

I have been married for 32 years, and have 5 sons and 10 grandkids with one on the way.  I enjoy wood carving and crafts related to woodworking.
